Hue has therapy a couple days a week and his therapist is always bringing cool toys. One week she brought here Instax Camera and Hue absolutely loved it. She took some cute pictures of Hue and I and I didn’t want them to get buried in a drawer so I made them a DIY frame. I wanted Hue to be involved so I had him paint the frame. Here is what you need and how I made it.
SUPPLIES:
- Card board (I used an empty snack box)
- Washable paint
- Kids paint brushes
- Painting tray (I love these and not just for painting! Great for all crafts.)
- Double-sided tape
- Glue
- Trimmer
I already had some scrap cardboard from one of Hue’s snack boxes. I trimmed it up and had Hue paint whatever he wanted on it.
Once the paint dried, I added the pictures on. I used double sided tape but I might glue them so that they are toddler resistant.
Then I used more scrap cardboard for the stand which I made it look like half of a triangle. Once that was dry it was ready for Hue’s dresser!
This was a sweet + easy DIY to do with my toddler!
