Such a simple and easy recipe to make these delicious chocolate + peanut butter cups.
You can make these as healthy or unhealthy you want depending on the chocolate and peanut butter you use.
I always use this peanut butter, it’s made out of just peanuts and has all the oil on the top. If you wanted something a little sweeter and creamier I would get the kind of pb you grew up eating.
INGREDIENTS:
peanut butter
chocolate
TOOLS:
candy mold or muffin tins (I used silicone muffin tins which made it super easy to pull the cup from the mold)
DIRECTIONS:
Melt your chocolate. I melt in in 30 second intervals in the microwave until nice and smooth.
Make sure the peanut butter is room temperature.
Take a spoonful of melted chocolate and smooth it out on the bottom and the sides. You want a thin layer. This is harder to achieve that saying it but just use less chocolate than you think you would need.
Then put a tablespoon of peanut butter. Try to flatten it out and then cover with chocolate. Once again as thin a cover as possible.
Freeze for at least an hour. Then I keep it in the fridge in a air tight container.
Enjoy!
