So… my birthday is coming up. Here are a few of my fav things at the moment. If your my mom or my sisters – this post is for you!

  1. I love a coupe! It’s makes a cocktail so much more fancier. I love the subtle detail of these coupe glasses.
  2. Recently while shopping for dinner plates, I found this honey dipper in a cute bowl with all of it’s honey dipper family members and I really felt I needed this. You know… to drizzle honey over freshly baked biscuits during all of my brunches that I have at my home… with my 2 year old.
  3. A perfect pedestal bowl for a perfect shelf moment or key holder or lip gloss collector.
  4. Yes. Yes. Yes. I have wanted an electric water heater ever since I went to Ireland at 19 and saw my Aunt heat up water in 90 seconds for a cup of tea. I got one once but the water tasted weird so I returned it. It’s time to try it again. Right now I heat up water in a coffee cup and it spills all over my pour over coffee so hopefully this spout will help guide the water in one dripless stream.
  5. Right now I have a pour over that sits on top of a coffee cup and it’s individual. So any time I am making more than one cup of coffee I have to make an individual cup for each person. Kind of a pain point I want to avoid for future coffee moments.
  6. I guess my husband was trying to get me an air fryer for a while but I had just gotten an instant pot and was learning all about that so I wasn’t ready yet for another kitchen gadget. Well… I am ready now.
  7. I am a huge at home cook. As a lot of us are especially in the last year. I also have really altered the way I eat by cutting out most dairy products. I have pizza with real cheese with the fam like once a month. I follow What’s Gaby Cooking on Instagram and I have made many of her recipes dairy free and they always turn out amazing.
  8. I heard Melissa Clark on a radio show once. She cooks/works for the New York Times and I haven’t made any of her recipes but I love the idea of a sheet pan meal. Easy and not too much clean up.
  9. I heart Half Baked Harvest. She is so creative and her recipes are amazing and delicious.
  10. Sarah Kieffer is the queen of pan-banging your chocolate chip cookies. I NEEd to make those neapolitan cookies as soon as possible.
  11. I have followed Molly Baz since seeing her videos/stories on Bon Appetit’s Instagram. There was a lot of drama that has followed since but she has risen above the smoke to make her own way. Every recipe looks amazing and each page has a qr code that takes you to a video of her making the recipe! What!?!? That is amazing!!!
  12. I actually don’t know this person but her book is all dairy free so I am in. I just started following her and made one of her recipes and it was delicious.

13. Help. I have a completely-uncalled-for obsession for a taper candle at the moment. I don’t know where it’s coming from but it’s making me all nostalgic for never dipping a taper candle in the Gold Rush area of Magic Mountain when I was a kid. I grew up in Valencia and was a season pass holder. Most summer’s we were dropped off in the morning and picked up in time for dinner! For some reason I NEVER dipped a candle. What was wrong with 12 year old me? I probably didn’t have the money or want to carry it around with me all day in the heat but not even once? I wonder if that candle dipping store is still around – I would go just to dip a few taper candles. Believe me… I have looked for a taper candle dipping class. It’s all about “make your own candle in a vessel” right now. I guess no one wants to dip a taper candle?

14. All the heart eyes for these $2.99 taper candles. The cheapest I have found so far! Ooohhh… and they are on sale for $2.69!

15. These are the same $2.99 candles just in a different color.

16. Okay so this vessel is cool. It’s also a candle so that is a bonus but I really like what the candle is in.

17. Since I am deep in the candle world I need these cool matches too right?

18. Candle accessories! Yes please.

19. A cool modern taper candle holder. Y E S.

20. These were the cheapest taper candles I could find until I found the $2.99 ones. The rose color is SO pretty.

21. I might have bought the circular candle holders of this collection for myself for Mother’s day. Which is also why I need so many taper candles. This would look great on my dining table.

22. I completely stopped wearing jewelry when I had Hue. I am ready to dip a foot in the jewelry world with this ring!

23. This lumbar pillow would look amazing across my bed! Yes, yes and yes.

24. I love a nod to a tv or movie t-shirt. This one is from Schitt’s Creek. Which I watched for a full 24 hours catching up and falling in love with while in labor with Hue.

Yay! Here’s to 43!
