How to make this DIY winter garland:
I usually would make a template but I couldn’t find one so I must have either drawn the shapes by hand or I (most likely) printed out the shapes after a quick search and traced the shapes after cutting them out.
Once I have my general shapes outlined I have Hue come in and paint the paper however he wants. I put down the colors I want the garland to be but Hue does the painting.
Once the painting is dry I cut out the shapes. I found a happy accident when cutting out the shapes a rounder tree shape fell to the table and I liked it so I kept it even though it wasn’t part of my original idea.
Then I cut a whole and string the garland and hang it in any window to make the home start to feel like Christmas is on it’s way!
Here are the supplies you will need:
Cardstock
Paint
Paintbrushes
Palette
Scissors
String
Whole Punch
This is a fun craft to do with toddlers. Happy start to the beginning of the holiday season!
