I drink this EVERY morning, M-F. Saturday and Sunday I party it up with a lighter breakfast burrito. Come Monday, it is all about my M-F staple – the fruit breakfast smoothie. It is great, light yet filling, nourishing and yummy.

It’s super easy to make and I make it every morning half asleep. I have been making this since November-ish and have been going strong for the past 4 months.

Throw the banana in first. Don’t forget this, it’s your binder and you will need it for consistency and taste purposes. I rinse and cut off all the tops of my strawberries, rinse the blueberries, rinse off the spinach and eyeball about a half a cup of unsweetened almond milk. And Ice, lots of ice because a cold smoothie makes a good smoothie!

Once everything is in the blender pitcher I blend away for a good minute. It’s that easy.

It’s also great to take on the go!

It doesn’t take long to fuel up and get started for the day!

FRUIT BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

1 BANANA

4-6 STRAWBERRIES

1/2 CUP OF BLUEBERRIES

A BIG HANDFUL OF SPINACH

1/2 A CUP OF UNSWEETENED ALMOND MILK

1/2 A CUP OF ICE

 

Blend all ingredients together for about a minute or all is smooth and your smoothie is ready to pour! Enjoy!
